Jan Colwell has practiced as a WOC nurse for over 40 years in an acute care academic medical center providing care to patients with wounds ostomy and skin care issues. She is currently the lead WOC APRN nurse running the outpatient ostomy clinic. Jan is a past president of WOCN Society, and FOW-USA, the co-editor of the ostomy section of the JWOCN, co-editor of two ostomy text books and has authored multiple peer review articles.
